The Powhatan Point Revitalization Association (PPRA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to Powhatan's downtown business district redevelopment. That support includes: defining, planning, engineering, financing, and marketing with our local/county stakeholders and governments; to revitalize the area and promote a healthy and more prosperous economic climate for the town. Primary goal is to define projects that makes investment worthwhile and creates a community lifeline for its people.

The PPRA Revitalization effort addresses the commercial district with focus on the downtown area and waterfront.
The strategy applied defines and develops Powhatan as a riverfront resort with recreation and cultural arts retail identity as a destination to visit, vacation, time-share, or retire.
